Originally, the location of the Oak Street School that was built in 1852 as an elementary school but burned down in 1927. The Todd School was subsequently built in 1934 and named after Mary A. Todd, a former Oak Street School principal. The school was expanded in 1965 and closed in 2019. The two-story portion of the building will be renovated into 11 work force housing units serving working families and will include a gym/fitness center and computer lab. The one-story portion of the building will be renovated into a patient-centered, not-for-profit healthcare provider serving over 72,000 patients per year with a specific focus on the West Aurora School District and their families.
