The Blair Building Redevelopment Project consists of two historic buildings: 1) the 4-story Amzi Godden Seed & Grain Co. building, built in 1917, and 2) the Hood & Wheeler Furniture Co. building, built in 1920. Both are contributing buildings to the Downtown Birmingham Historic District. When fully rehabilitated, the $7.5 million dollar project contain 24,000 square feet of commercial/retail space.
